Programs

Antara’s programs bring together restorative justice, body wisdom, play, and contemplative practice to strengthen communities.

We hold retreats, circles, and embodied gatherings, and we cultivate a growing circle of facilitators whose projects extend Antara’s mission into new contexts.

Restorative Justice Circles

Embodied, trauma-informed processes that address harm, rebuild trust, and create lasting community agreements.

Plain English: We help communities face conflict directly and compassionately, so relationships can be repaired instead of broken.

Embodied Gatherings & Ritual

Community practices — from movement and play to grief rituals and seasonal ceremonies — that root healing in body and land.

Plain English: These are joyful and grounding events where people move, breathe, and connect with one another and the Earth.

Retreats

Multi-day retreats at Antara sites and partner communities, weaving contemplative practice, restorative justice, and land-based ritual.

Plain English: Retreats give people time away from daily life to rest, heal, and reconnect with what matters most.

Facilitator’s Network and Gathering

Each year, Antara convenes ~20 facilitators from diverse traditions for deep practice, skill-sharing, and collective visioning. Facilitators can propose projects that align with Antara’s mission, and we work together to find financial support.

Plain English: We’re building a strong network of leaders who carry restorative justice, embodiment, and community healing into their own contexts.

Donor’s Circle

(in development)

We are building a donor circle to resource facilitator-led projects. This model allows Antara to extend its impact beyond our own land sites — supporting initiatives that embody our values of equity, embodiment, and repair.

Plain English: Donors will directly support community projects and leaders, not just Antara’s core programs.

Facilitator’s Training

(in development)

A year-long training program will provide embodied, contemplative, and restorative justice skills to prepare facilitators for guiding circles, retreats, and land-based projects in their own communities.

Plain English: This training equips the next generation of leaders with the tools they need to heal conflict, tend community, and steward land.
