Who we are
Antara is a nonprofit network of land-based healing and contemplative practice.
We bring people together through body wisdom, play, and ritual — weaving restorative justice and ancestral remembrance into community life.
We support intergenerational, multicultural communities in restoring right relationship with land, lineage, and one another. Healing for us is not just a philosophy — it must be felt in the body, lived in community, and rooted in the Earth.
What Guides Us?
Land & Ecology — The land itself is teacher, relative, and participant in our work.
Restorative Justice — Repair and accountability are built into our way of being together.
Body Wisdom & Play — Movement, ritual, and joy are essential tools for healing and connection.
Equity & Belonging — We prioritize leadership by women, queer, and culturally diverse practitioners, and we follow Indigenous leadership on Indigenous lan
How We Work
Our work takes root in intentional communties, retreat sanctuaries, and facilitator networks. each project is distinct to its place, yet all are connected through Antara’s mission of land-based healing and collective repair.
Antara supports:
Land Projects like Moya (NC) and Aspen Ridge (CO), which are living sanctuaries for community practice.
Indigenous-led Partnerships, where Antara provides resourcing and protection while following Native leadership.
Retreats that integrate contemplative practice, body wisdom, and restorative justice.
Facilitator Training (in development) to equip leaders with tools for embodiment, equity, and repair.
Annual Facilitators Gathering — Each year, Antara convenes 20 facilitators from across traditions and disciplines for deep practice, play, and skill-sharing. This gathering strengthens our wider network of leaders who carry restorative justice, embodiment, and community healing into their own contexts.
Vision
We envision a world where communities remember their interdependence with land, lineage, and one another. Through ritual, play, body wisdom, and justice, we create sanctuaries of healing and belonging for this planetary moment.
Our Projects
Moya (High Country, NC) — An intentional community rooted in movement, ritual, and land care.
Aspen Ridge (Colorado Rockies) — A retreat sanctuary for grief tending, ancestral restoration, and collective repair.
Facilitator Training & Gathering — Building a network of embodied, restorative leaders carrying this work into their own communities.
